His previous experience as a teacher at St. Joseph University and a manager at L’Union Des Assurance De Paris /AXA Middle East didn’t overcome his passion about hospitality and food and beverage arts which push him to find in 1984 with his brother Claude, Crepaway the full dining unique experience.

Managing Partner of BASMA Lebanese Bistro and of Crepaway as well as managing partner of Ste Charles Thoumy & co Insurance Brokerage, Mr. Thoumy carries a degree in Business and Insurance from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and is also a Board Member of the Lebanese Autism Society.

Thoumy’s success with Crepaway led him to export his experience to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar and Jordan and to expand this success to a new Lebanese food concept BASMA IN 2010.
